Spring is finally here…

Last month saw me finish the bulk of my buying for Autumn Winter 2016, and now I can’t wait to get into the shop to rummage through all the collections I selected nearly a year ago! Although we are still waiting for everything to arrive, I can’t wait to bring my spring summer vision together.  I hope you agree I’ve captured some of this year’s key trends and incorporated a wide variety of pieces, both practical and edgy in their style or composition.  My hope is there is always something for everyone, from the young to the old, tapping into the ever increasing trend I’ve seen in my shop for mums brining their daughters in to buy!

Isabel de Pedro Spring Summer 2016

One of the standout collections for me is Isabel de Pedro, where you’ll find the usual art-inspired mono-chrome stylised separates, punctuated with bright floral prints in feminine cuts. This collection is principally day wear, but also features evening wear worn by women who don’t want to be trussed up after dark, a relaxed and sinuous silhouette.

If you’re looking for a continuation of the hippie chic that we saw last year and still a hot trend, look no further than the spring summer Save the Queen! collection.  I’m so excited by the return of this eclectic brand with its edgy, fun and bright feel, including body con and jersey fabric dresses in bold prints and separates including tailored jackets that will stun when combined with a simple top and jeans.

And of course, our latest range of Caroline cashmere, I just can’t tell you enough how fabulous it is. This seasons new cuts have a more sports luxe look and feel, in spring light colours through to the on-trend vibrant pinks and oranges – a definite must have. Just throw one over jeans and you’ll never want to wear anything else, and it washes brilliantly!

Other winners that you’ll definitely catch me wearing are the French designs of Crea Concept (see more in the blog Crea Concept ) their MO is to take something simple and classic, layer it and play with the cut to make a fabulous silhouette.  And again from France the luxurious tee’s from Majestic Filatures this year in vibrant colours and their characteristic neutrals.

Another brand we’re bringing back for summer is Australian shoe-maker Sol Sana.  This collection is as fabulous in their style as they are in their comfort.  Watch this space for the full low-down on Sol Sana and Candice Cooper coming soon.
